NOW HIRING!

Build Confidence. Inspire Students. Make a Difference.

Life Lab is expanding nationwide, and we’re looking for enthusiastic Challenge Coaches for our Student-Core and Student-Faith programs to bring Life Lab to their communities. We provide the curriculum, training, student registration, and ongoing support, so you can focus on inspiring students as they build confidence, solve real-life challenges, and form lasting friendships.

Why Become a Life Lab Challenge Coach?

  • Teachers and former teachers are an excellent fit – but a teaching degree is not required.
  • You do not have to teach both Core and Faith programs – you can choose one or both!
  • You don’t need to create lesson plans. We provide the challenges, materials, and structure for you.
  • You don’t need to build a business from scratch. Life Lab gives you the program, resources, and support to get started.
  • A great Life Lab Coach is someone who enjoys working with kids and is connected to families in their community.
    • That might mean you’re involved with homeschool groups, parent groups, sports teams, church groups, public school families, youth organizations, or other local communities where kids and parents already gather.
  • If you’re encouraging, dependable, comfortable leading a small group, and excited about helping kids build confidence and real-world skills, Life Lab may be a great fit.

Our Hiring & Onboarding Process

We’re excited to get to know you! Here’s what you can expect as you move through the Life Lab Coach onboarding process.

1. Submit Your Interest Form
Tell us a little about yourself and the community you’d like to serve.

2. 15-Minute Zoom Interview
Meet with our team so we can learn more about you, answer your questions, and make sure Life Lab is a great fit for everyone.

3. Coach Agreement (5 minutes)
If offered a coaching position, review and electronically sign the Life Lab Challenge Coach Agreement.

4. Coach Information Form (10–15 minutes)
Upload your coach photo, complete your profile, and provide the information we’ll use to create your public coach page.

5. Background Check & Child Safety Screening
Complete the required background check and any applicable child maltreatment screening for your state.

6. Online CPR Certification (Approximately 45 minutes)
Complete an approved online CPR course or provide proof of a current CPR certification from a nationally recognized provider.

7. Coach Training (Approximately 60 minutes)
Access the Coach Portal and complete your online training before leading your first class.

🎉 8. Launch Your First Pod!
Once your onboarding is complete, you’ll be ready to welcome students and begin making a real difference in the lives of young people.

As an independent Life Lab Challenge Coach, you are responsible for the cost of your required background screening, child safety screening (where applicable), CPR certification, and any other required onboarding items. We also strongly recommend maintaining personal liability insurance for your own protection.

To help offset these startup expenses, Life Lab provides a one-time $100 onboarding bonus after you’ve completed all onboarding requirements and reached a total of eight (8) active enrolled students. We believe in investing in our coaches and supporting your long-term success.
